Last March 5, 2015, we had our graduation at PICC and it was one of the happiest moments in my life! (I bet you'll also feel the same way once you have graduated from college)

Sleepless nights, never ending exams, home works, projects, marketing plans, THESIS, demanding professors, failing classes.... college life can be really stressful. Well, being a Mapuan is really
stressful. Studying in a quarterm based school is not a joke. We only have 12 weeks to learn every single lesson and finish all the requirements needed each term. Trust me, it is not easy.

I had a hard time adjusting during my first months in college. I couldn't cope up with my classes (Sobrang nakakastres. Kahit PE nastress ako mag basketball kasi di ako makashoot ok lol)
I wanted to give up and move to a different school but in the end, I still chose to stay
(Naks mala-lovelife ang datingan. Haha!) It was all worth it in the end. Hashtag NO RAGRETS! Haha!

(Hi, Thats me over there hihi)

One of the reasons why I decided to stay in Mapua is because of my friends. ;-)
Your college friends will always be there to pull you up and push you harder everyday. They will make your journey through college..... fun! Some will help you grow into a better person but others will try to bring you down. Some will disappoint you and eventually turn out into a different kind of person. Its disappointing... but that's life. In tough times, you will realize who your real friends are.

My college friends is also one of the reasons why leaving college will be hard. I will never forget all the memories we have spent together. I'll surely miss seeing all your faces everyday!

(Many of my friends are not included in the photos. :-(  Nawala kayo after ng event... parang mga paasa sa mundo eh biglang nawawala jk)

My motivation in going through college?
My family!
They motivated me to never give up and trust me, it was worth it. At first I thought, "Hindi ko na kaya sa Mapua, ayoko na" but they inspired me everyday to push harder in passing my classes. Seeing your family happy because of you,
its priceless.

Anyway! Here's what I wore on our graduation day:

Dress and Shoes: H&M
After our graduation ceremony, we had our dinner at Vikings. (YAASSS FINALLY FOOD!)

It was also my dad's birthday the next day. Yay for double celebration!

Nice hat dad lol

So happy to see my tita and cousin on this very special day. Both of them we're also very supportive and helpful in my journey through college. I will be forever grateful for everything!

Yepp still not over it.. graduation hangovaaaah!

Leaving college will be hard :-( I will miss everyone! My friends, professors, kuya guard (na lagi ako ini-infraction pag maikli skirt ko), ate bookstore, ate canteen (na kahit laging walanng pangsukli) lol

So if you think you're having a hard time in college,  just think that all the hard work and sleepless nights will be worth it in the end. Don't ever give up on your dreams, anything is possible if you work hard for it.

I can't wait to start the next chapter of my life.... I'm finally facing the reaaaal world.
I am proud to be an alumna of MapĂșa Institute of Technology!
I will forever remember all the memories I've spent here.
